Advocating for Justice Inside and Outside the Courtroom

At the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, PLLC, our commitment to justice extends beyond the courtroom. We take pride in positively impacting our community and beyond through various philanthropic initiatives. As a firm, we believe in using our success not only to empower our clients but also to contribute to the well-being of society. Here are some examples of the meaningful partnerships and philanthropic efforts that define our commitment to making a difference.

Partnering with Restore NYC: Empowering Human Sexual Trafficking Survivors

One of the cornerstone partnerships for the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, PLLC, is with Restore NYC, an organization dedicated to aiding survivors of human trafficking. Restore NYC tirelessly works to provide survivors safety, housing, job opportunities, and a path to self-sufficient freedom. We are proud to collaborate with Restore NYC, helping empower survivors and educating the public on the powerful laws in New York that allow survivors to bring punishing lawsuits. Attorney Michael Lamonsoff further delves into combatting human trafficking laws in New York in a comprehensive video titled "How to Stop Human Trafficking in New York." The video sheds light on the legal aspects and emphasizes the importance of community involvement in addressing this critical issue.

How to fight human trafficking: Michael S. Lamonsoff speaking

The Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff is proud to support our colleague, Hannah Joly, as she prepares to run in the NYC Marathon with Restore New York. Restore is a non-profit organization, pioneering innovative trauma-informed services, housing and economic-empowerment solutions that give survivors access to a safe home, a safe job, and improved well-being. As you know, Mr. Lamonsoff is a staunch supporter of New York’s human trafficking laws, which are designed to empower and protect survivors. He has consistently advocated for stronger legislative measures and resources that ensure survivors receive the justice and support they deserve. His commitment to this cause is evident in his efforts to raise awareness and collaborate with advocacy groups to enhance the legal framework protecting vulnerable individuals. Mr. Lamonsoff’s unwavering support for these laws highlights his dedication to creating a safer and more just society for all.

Bringing Mobility to the World — One Step at a Time

At The Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, we fight every day to help injured New Yorkers get back on their feet. But that mission doesn’t stop at city lines.

That’s why we proudly partner with A Leg To Stand On (ALTSO). An organization providing free prosthetic limbs, orthotic braces, and appropriately fitted wheelchairs to children living with limb disabilities in underserved communities around the world.

Mobility is something most of us take for granted until it’s taken away. Whether it’s the result of an accident or a lack of access to care, the impact is life-altering. ALTSO’s mission to give children the ability to walk and roll again deeply aligns with our own: empowering people to rise after suffering, and reclaiming the life they deserve.

MSL Rocks For Good at ALTSO’s Rocktoberfest

This year, we’re proud to be an exclusive sponsor of ALTSO’s 22nd Annual Rocktoberfest, held at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square. The event brings together over a thousand people from New York’s financial and business communities, all gathering to raise money, raise awareness, and celebrate the power of mobility through music.

At the heart of it all is ALTSO’s mission to provide children with limb disabilities access to free prosthetic limbs, orthotic braces, and properly fitted wheelchairs. The funds raised at Rocktoberfest give kids the chance to move, play, and live freely—some for the very first time.

As part of our partnership, Ken Dashow, legendary host on New York’s classic rock station Q104.3, will help amplify that message both on air and in the room. In this exciting collaboration, The Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, ALTSO, and Ken Dashow are showing up for the 9 in 10 children living with limb disabilities in emerging countries who can’t afford the treatment they need.

This October, we’re eager to bring our contagious MSL Bullpen energy and passion to the stage for all the kids who deserve a leg to stand on.

The Pickle Bulls Paddle for a Purpose

Every year, the MSL Bullpen takes to the court… the pickleball court, that is! In order to support ALTSO in their mission to Move for Mobility.

Our staff team, affectionately known as The Pickle Bulls, joins ALTSO at Court 16 in FiDi to raise both awareness and funding through friendly competition. Because when it comes to fighting for what’s right, we don’t just talk the talk—we walk the walk with a pickleball paddle in hand.

This annual fundraiser is also a way for our team to move with meaning, build camaraderie, and take part in something bigger than ourselves.

And always remember! If you mess with The Pickle Bulls, you get the horns.

Partnering with New York Cares for their Annual Coat Drive

Partnering with New York Cares and HOT 97, we actively participate in driving awareness through New York Cares' annual coat drive. To contribute to this impactful initiative, bins have been strategically placed throughout the city, including our offices, encouraging individuals to donate warm clothing to those in need. By supporting New York Cares, we aim to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate during the harsh winter months.

We believe fostering a sense of community responsibility is crucial, and our collaboration with New York Cares reflects our commitment to creating a positive impact.
