Evan DeFraine is an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, PLLC, pending his admission to the New York Bar. He is dedicated to providing clients with aggressive, relentless and empathetic representation, both in and out of the courtroom.
A native of Southern California, Evan graduated from the College of William & Mary before earning his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law. At Fordham, he was an active member of the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolutions Societies, competing in national and international competitions. He also practiced in the Criminal Defense Clinic, where he worked with clients from wide ranging backgrounds with difficult legal issues. Throughout his time in law school, Evan always selected classes and extracurriculars that prepared him to fight for his clients’ rights after they get hurt.
Evan experienced extensive personal injury training in his internship at the firm. Many ties he was directly instructed by the founder and owner of the firm, Michael S. Lamonsoff, Evan was selected by the firm to become an associate shortly after taking the New York Bar Exam. As an associate, Evan focuses on keeping clients informed, efficiently guiding their case through litigation, and always fighting for the best possible result.
